Step away from the world and onto holy ground. A Holy Pilgrimage is a three-day immersive retreat held during Holy Week in Santa Fe, New Mexico—designed to bring you into deeper union with God, your body, and your divine calling. Rooted in the seven pillars of the Holy Method—Surrender, Abide, Study, Honor, Purify, Stillness, and Embody—this experience weaves together scripture-based movement, somatic release, sacred ritual, and intimate spiritual practice.
We begin with sacred circle, anointing, and gentle Holy Method flows to open the heart and prepare the soul. On Saturday, we journey together in reverence along the historic path to El Santuario de Chimayó—a healing shrine known for its holy dirt, pilgrimage energy, and sacred peace. Along the way, we walk in silence, prayer, and intention, pausing for breath, scripture, and movement. This pilgrimage is both symbolic and embodied—an invitation to release what no longer serves and to rise again in the Spirit.
Each evening is marked by healing ritual, stillness, and restoration. Each morning, we gather to move and pray as a spiritual family. On Sunday, we close with a sunrise flow and a communion-inspired blessing to seal your journey. A Holy Pilgrimage is not just a retreat—it is a consecrated path of remembrance. Come barefoot. Come honest. Come ready to be transformed.

A Typical Day
Pilgrimage Day Schedule:
- 7:00 AM: Light Breakfast + Blessing at the Retreat House
- 8:00 AM: Drive to Santa Cruz de la Cañada Church in Española
- 8:30 AM: Opening Prayer Circle + Anointing + Sacred Breathwork
- 9:00 AM: Begin the Walk (with optional intention-carrying: crosses, stones, prayer cards)
- 10:15 AM: First Pause: Reflection on “Surrender” + Scripture + Breath
- 11:30 AM: Pause for “Honor” or “Purify” Pillar: Light Snack + Sacred Water
- 1:00 PM: Arrive at El Santuario de Chimayo
- 1:30 PM: Visit Holy Dirt Room + Personal Silent Prayer
- 3:00 PM: Group Devotional Yoga Flow + Embodiment Reflection Near the River
- 4:00 PM: Devotional Picnic Under the Trees at the Stations of the Cross Path

Frequently Asked Questions
Where Will I Be Staying? You will be staying at one of our beautiful retreat houses in the heart of Sedona! Each retreat pass includes a private room with a queen bed and shared bath. VIP guests have priority booking so if there is a bedroom with a ensuite bathroom they will have priority booking to the room available. Priority booking is done on a first come first serve basis and we do our best to accomodate all of guests needs.
Are these retreats Co-Ed? Curretnly, these retreats are for women only. However, if you interested in a co-ed retreat please see our upcoming co-ed retreats or book a private retreat with Powers Yoga.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat? No, we have all your yoga needs and each yoga bag is equipped with a snack and water for your hikes.
How many people are in a retreat? Our retrats are curated to be intimate for optimal healing and spritual growth. You can expect in each retreat a minimum of 4 to 10 like minded women.
Is there a shuttle service from Phoenix to Sedona? Yes! Groome Shuttle leaves the Phoenix airport every hour. You can book your shuttle directly by viiting with www.GroomeTransportation.com. They will pick you up and drop you off door to door and have plenty of room for your luggage. There are also plenty of Uber and Lifts to grab!
Are shops and restaurants close by? Yes, there are tons of great restaurants, a juice shop and a crystal boutique all within walking distance.
Do I need to rent a car? We take care of all the shuttling to all the excursions, so we recommend that you don’t need one but some people like the freedom of having a car and venturing out during down time.
